What is The Difference Between SEM and SEO?

The main difference between SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and SEM (Search Engine Marketing) is that SEO focuses on improving your website's organic (unpaid) search engine rankings through optimizing content, keywords, and technical elements. SEO is a long-term strategy aimed at increasing visibility naturally.

On the other hand, SEM involves both SEO and paid strategies like PPC (Pay-Per-Click) advertising, where you pay for ads to appear on search engine results pages (SERPs). SEM provides faster results by paying for immediate visibility but can be costly depending on your ad budget.
