Are Human Writers and tools helping students in 2025?

Lately, I’ve been wondering how much writing tools and online help have actually changed the way students learn to write. It’s hard to deny how much easier things have become — from fixing grammar to improving sentence flow or even generating ideas when you’re completely stuck.

For example, Grammarly helps spot mistakes and polish tone instantly, while tools like Jasper or Notion AI can spark ideas when you’re trying to overcome writer’s block. And then is 5staressays, which some students use to understand formatting, structure, or citation styles when they’re short on time or unsure how to start.

At the same time, I sometimes question whether relying on these tools too much might affect how we actually learn to write. Are we really improving, or just outsourcing the hard parts?

So, I’m curious —
Do you think using AI tools and custom writing help is making students better writers, or are we slowly losing our own writing voice?
