I have been trying to understand the complete process of obtaining the Cédula de Identificación Fiscal from SAT in 2026. Many people I know are confused about whether the process is fully online or still requires an in-person appointment.
From what I have read, the SAT portal allows you to download your cif sat 2026 directly without visiting any office — but only if your RFC is active and your e.firma is valid.
Can anyone confirm the exact steps? And is there any difference in the process for personas físicas vs personas morales in 2026?
